Toyoko Inn Busan South Korea

Stayed here for 2 nights for my recent trip to Busan. I made reservation online and check in was fast. You may opt to become a member and you'll immediately get to enjoy discount for your room rate. If I remember correctly, one time membership fee is 15,000 won. As a member, check-in time is 3:00pm, as opposed to 4:00pm for non members. Members also get to make reservation online 6 months in advance, as opposed to 3 months for non member. Check-out time of 10:00am is applicable to both member and non-member. Housekeeping is from 10:00am to 3:00pm daily. Do inform the receptionist if you wish stay in the room during housekeeping hours or does not require your room to be cleaned. We stayed in the double room, which came with a queen size bed. Room size was adequate, with luggage storage under the bed or behind the headboard. Washroom came with a small bath tub with shower head, shampoo, conditioner and body shampoo. Refrigerator is available and two bottles of 500ml mineral water is provided daily. Our room was on the 8th floor (non smoking) and came with a nice view of Busan Station. Although it was close to Busan Station and there in a taxi stand in front of the hotel, it was not noisy. There is a Busan Tour Bus stop opposite CU convenient store. CU convenient store is opposite the hotel where you can purchase and load your T Money card and purchase some snacks. Free wifi is provided in the hotel, including the room. Wifi was steady and fast. Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 to 9:00am on the 2nd floor. Breakfast spread consist of simple Japanese style breakfast like onigiri, sushi roll, bread, hard boiled egg, porridge, soup, sausages, kimchi, salad, etc. Coffee and juice is available. There is also a water dispenser machine for hot and cold water. There is a card in the room for you to bring down together when you have breakfast, something like your breakfast coupon. Guests are expected to clean up after themselves by putting the plates, cups and utensils in bins provided. You may leave your luggage with the hotel before check-in or after check-out. There is laptop (with Internet) and printer on the 1st floor (receptionist area). Travel brouchers are available too. There is also free pajamas for loasn at the 1st floor. Iron and ironing board can be requested at the reception. Free soap and lotion is also available at the reception. There is vending machine selling mineral water (500 won only, cheaper than CU), beer, and soft drink. The hotel is close proximity to the Busan metro station. You may use exit 2 or 8. There are a lot of eateries (e.g. Angel-in-Us, Lotteria, Paris Baguette) around, some even operate 24 hours. There is also buses near Busan Station to Hauendae Beach (bus # 1003) and Taejongdae Resort Park (bus # 88, 101). Overall, we had an enjoyable stay in Toyoko-Inn Busan Station 1 and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable stay at reasonable pricing in Busan.
