A museum dedicated to Hello Kitty has opened on Jejudo Island. The museum featuring “everything about Hello Kitty” presents various products and a 3-D animated film, which will get its world premiere at the museum.
“The museum focused on providing a fun program that visitors of all generations can enjoy. It offers a new experience as many of the programs will involve physical activities,” said Kim Jong-seok, founder of the museum.
The museum features some of the most diverse products in the gigantic Hello Kitty House located on the first and second floors. The museum also conducts collaborations with fashion and interior designers ― the products include a Hello Kitty-themed “hanbok” (Korean traditional garments). The museum offers 5 percent off to visitors who enter in a Hello Kitty T-shirt.
