Siam Ocean World Bangkok

Two storeys underneath the glitzy Siam Paragon shopping mall, an aquatic wonderland the size of three Olympic swimming pools awaits your discovery at the Siam Ocean World. This underground aquarium, one of the largest in Southeast Asia, will dazzle you with innovative world-class exhibits and over 30,000 curious looking creatures from various depths and aquatic regions across the globe. Meet some of the world’s record holders, transported all the way from the Amazon River or the Jurassic period when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. Greet the ocean’s deadliest predators in the 270-degree underwater tunnel, sneak a peek into the open ocean from a glass-bottom boat, or, if you really can’t resist, dive in and have a swim amongst the sharks and rays. For kids, a few hours spent at the Siam Ocean World will be as educational as it is exhilarating and memorable.

Madame Tussauds Bangkok

If you are a skeptic, you’d probably think a wax museum is a wax museum is a wax museum, right? What’s the hype all about? Well, for starter, Madame Tussauds has stepped down from the pedestal and embraced her visitors with a revolutionary concept – the wax museum with exhibits you can touch, hug, play with and even kiss. Imagine shooting hoops with the Houston Rockets centre Yao Ming, appearing on The Oprah Show, practicing Kung Fu with Bruce Lee, drinking espresso with George Clooney, or… ahem… putting your arm over your old pal Mao Zedong’s shoulders. Located in the Siam Discovery Center, in Siam area, Madame Tussauds Bangkok is no old-fashioned wax museum. For the entertainment value and a chance to rub shoulders with world celebrities, heads of state, activists, sports heroes and heroines, legendary artists, and even royalty, the museum is worth checking out

Coffee Bean Bangkok Siam Center

Apart from shopping, food is also our main priority. So we tried out Coffee Beans , one of the more popular cafes in Bangkok. They are in no way related to Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, if you are wondering.

Don Muang Airport Bangkok

On Feb i get to travel to bangkok.. below is some informations i want to share from Don Muang Airport BKk to transfer to City... Even as Don Muang is now the secondary airport in Bangkok, there is still plenty of traffic coming in and out especially with the relocation of the low cost airlines to this hub. There is much discussion and disagreement online in our research as to how much one can expect to pay when trying to get from the Airport to the city. For those looking for how to transfer from Don Muang to Suvarnabhumi see our tip on the free interairport shuttle here. One may take the local train and the local buses across the road from the airport from anywhere between 5 and 25 baht. These will arrive to the central rail station and other main spots like victory monument. In terms of time and value these options are not very desirable since the buses arrive from a further location and are usually quite full already. The trains run very slowly and usually once an hour, one can be stuck waiting for or waiting in one of these means of transit for quite some time. The most practical and efficient way to get to town is to either take a taxi or a bus from Don Muang airport to the closest BTS/Metro stop, which is Mo Chit. When taking the taxi from the stand outside the airport one will see that a 50 Baht surcharge applies for the driver. The cost to Mo Chit is around 100 Baht give or take a little, but do not allow your driver to tell you it is 200 or as we’ve seen upwards of 390. Insist on using the meter and tell them you know 100 Baht to be the price

Half Day Tour to Phi Phi Island

Phi Phi Island is an amazing holiday destination that has a lot to offer. With no cars on the island, no bridges or tunnels the only way to and from the island is by boat. This makes the island that much more special and unique. Phi Phi Island holidays are becoming more popular and Rassada Pier remains the hub for getting to and from the island.

Rassada Pier to Phi Phi Island

We are going to Phuket just for a half day trip . Coz my main motive to Phuket is just to see the crystal clear beach of Phi Phi island.. On a Side Note Rassada Pier is the hub for getting to and from Phi Phi Island by ferry, water taxis, chartered boats or hotel boats

A stroll at Kalim Beach Phuket

Kalim Beach is a nice beach for a afternoon walk, but not a beach that I personally would swim in. During the monsoon season from June through to September the northern end of Kalim is one of the better beaches in Phuket to go surfing

Getaway to Phuket... Patong Beach

Patong is the most famous beach resort on Phuket. With its wide variety of activities and nightlife, Patong is an ideal place to party and play. By night the town has a bustling nightlife which includes literally hundreds of restaurants, beer bars, GoGo Bars and of course discos. The nightlife is centred around Soi Bangla (Bangla Road) however there are quiet parts of town. Visitors hoping for a glimpse into the exotic East might not find it here, though the steaming hot streets, neon lights and chaotic atmosphere of Patong can be overwhelming for the new arrival. The key to full enjoyment of the place is to pace yourself, drink lots of water and learn the meaning of 'mai pen rai' - which translates roughly to 'It doesn't matter' or 'Don't worry, be happy'. and on a side note.. would advise to rent a scooter for $12 a day to take u around phuket than walking!! Enjoy!

Eat well, live well, be well.

This has always been Ben and my mantra in life, and while we always treat ourselves to the better things in life, we have always believed in a holistic approach towards a complete well-being. Eating is our hobby and so is traveling. Every good meal and every trip uplifts the spirits and makes us happy. And while we are what we eat, we have also formed a firm belief in treating our skin to the best food, too. Because when we feel good, we look good. And feeling good inside out is the very holistic approach we practise.@Phuket Trip to Amata Resort Rooftop Pool 2014

Quiet Friday...

though life is never a bed of roses and we all take tumbles and have our difficulties, I choose to believe there is always something to smile about. Every day may not be good, but there is surely something good in every day; so right, so true. It was a quiet Friday with my Love, and we chanced upon this tranquil scene and we fell in love. It was like being out of Singapore, peaceful and slow-paced - just like how we like our lives to be. Sometimes, I think we do not belong to Singapore. This is our home and we grew up here with everyone and everything that we love, but there are times when we find ourselves too breathless from running in the rat race - not by choice but only necessary for survival. Which have us appreciating little pleasures in life albeit in the simplest forms
