To start off, I am a total Korean food junkie. Out of, say, ten times that I frequent a Korean restaurant, about eight times I'll order bibimbap, a popular Korean dish where you mix rice with vegetables, meat and egg in a stone bowl.
Conveniently located right in the middle of *SCAPE, Su Superstar Korean Cuisine takes on an awfully simple store concept that it gives off the impression that they serve less than authentic Korean food. (Or is it just me?)
However, this shop has turned into my number one to-go whenever I crave for bibimbap. Other than the fact that it's so yummy (after putting in loads of bibimbap sauce), it's very affordable, so plus points for my student budget wallet. I'd usually order a bowl of bibimbap along with a plate of spicy rice cakes, which are alright.
The small humble eatery has an open concept, and they operate on a self-service ordering system where you can simply key in your orders on an iPad to order the food. Haven't tried the other dishes, but I'm so in love with their bibimbap I doubt I'll find enough self-control to order something else the next time I'm there.

This Swiss dining concept is styled around a traditional European marketplace, where diners order and collect their meals from the stalls they prefer. The restaurant is quirkily decorated with cows and other emblems of European country living, and the food runs the gamut from pastas to roasted pork knuckles to freshly made Swiss crepes.

DonBOWLri Bistro & Bar Goldhill Shopping Centre Singapore
This family restaurant beckons to food lovers everywhere with its delightfully punny name: a fusion of the Japanese word “donburi” which means “rice bowl dish” and the English word “bowl”. Located in Goldhill Shopping Centre, a 3-minute walk from the Novena MRT station, patrons young and old can dine on Japanese and Thai cuisine within the restaurant’s warm russet walls. Their specialty dishes include chashu shoyu ramen, pad ka pao, yam ma muang, ebidon, and katsu kare, finished off with toothsome steamed tapioca and mandarin cream cheesecake.

Ah Koong FIshball Restaurant Johor Bahru
The famous Ah Koong fishball in Johor, Malaysia. I believed many people from Singapore knows about this store as i always see Singaporeans there, and no doubt their recent debut branch at VivoCity has raised their profile in Singapore. Well, i started eating at Ah Koong a few years back, and since then whenever i go to Johor, it has become one of the must-eat for me. Not a lover of fishballs (i prefer Won-ton mee), but when it comes to Ah Koong fishball noodles, i like! Anyway, for simplicity sake, i will be putting all the dishes in Ringgit (RM), just divided the sum by 2.

Marble Slab Creamery Bugis+ Singapore
I am a diehard of cinema food, not because the food is awesome but it is the whole couch potato experience and possibly the only time the calories are the lastest thing on the mind. Yes, the experience certainly does not come cheap..at a premium in fact. Icecreams are perfect comfort food, more so than popcorn and nachos that fills you up to the brim with the guilt. I used to favour the lil tubs of ben and jerry's and Magnum Gold. Film Garde at Illuma somehow does not offer an icecream option and I was peeved.
Marble Slab Creamery offered the perfect option just being an escalotor away from Film Garde.

Pecori Japanese egg Restarant Liang Court Singapore
Believe it or not, Pecori has fries that one can order on the side to stack more carbs onto the already carbo laden omu rice plates. This was probably little issue to the Japanese teenaged kids that were sitting beside us, wolfing both rice and fries down like they hadn't eaten for quite a while. Eating like they did for lunch for us was simply planning for a nap to happen. But their soft, soy sauce butter flavored fries which was probably not even French fried were very addictive. So addictive that we wiped an entire bowl out with relative ease even though there was already so much rice.

It was my luck that day when I spotted this scrumptious logan glass jelly dessert, voted best food awards 2011/ 2012 by Green book. After Ah Chew Desserts, hubby and I walked along Liang Seah street looking for dinner, instead a picture of this tempting logan glass jelly dessert in the window of a dessert place caught our eyes and immediately we decided to give it a try.
We ordered 2 bowls of dessert to share and it was one of the most delicious dessert I ever tasted. Probably the best dessert I have tried in Singapore.. YUMS
