Ah Koong FIshball Restaurant Johor Bahru
The famous Ah Koong fishball in Johor, Malaysia. I believed many people from Singapore knows about this store as i always see Singaporeans there, and no doubt their recent debut branch at VivoCity has raised their profile in Singapore. Well, i started eating at Ah Koong a few years back, and since then whenever i go to Johor, it has become one of the must-eat for me. Not a lover of fishballs (i prefer Won-ton mee), but when it comes to Ah Koong fishball noodles, i like! Anyway, for simplicity sake, i will be putting all the dishes in Ringgit (RM), just divided the sum by 2.

Marble Slab Creamery Bugis+ Singapore
I am a diehard of cinema food, not because the food is awesome but it is the whole couch potato experience and possibly the only time the calories are the lastest thing on the mind. Yes, the experience certainly does not come cheap..at a premium in fact. Icecreams are perfect comfort food, more so than popcorn and nachos that fills you up to the brim with the guilt. I used to favour the lil tubs of ben and jerry's and Magnum Gold. Film Garde at Illuma somehow does not offer an icecream option and I was peeved.
Marble Slab Creamery offered the perfect option just being an escalotor away from Film Garde.

Pecori Japanese egg Restarant Liang Court Singapore
Believe it or not, Pecori has fries that one can order on the side to stack more carbs onto the already carbo laden omu rice plates. This was probably little issue to the Japanese teenaged kids that were sitting beside us, wolfing both rice and fries down like they hadn't eaten for quite a while. Eating like they did for lunch for us was simply planning for a nap to happen. But their soft, soy sauce butter flavored fries which was probably not even French fried were very addictive. So addictive that we wiped an entire bowl out with relative ease even though there was already so much rice.

Ji De Chi Dessert Liang Seah Street Singapore
It was my luck that day when I spotted this scrumptious logan glass jelly dessert, voted best food awards 2011/ 2012 by Green book. After Ah Chew Desserts, hubby and I walked along Liang Seah street looking for dinner, instead a picture of this tempting logan glass jelly dessert in the window of a dessert place caught our eyes and immediately we decided to give it a try.
We ordered 2 bowls of dessert to share and it was one of the most delicious dessert I ever tasted. Probably the best dessert I have tried in Singapore.. YUMS
